City of Heroes: Rebirth Server Overview City of Heroes is NCsoft's classic superhero MMORPG, where players build a hero or villain from the ground up using its legendary costume creator and play through Paragon City and the Rogue Isles. Rebirth launched in 2019 out of the original City of Heroes Discord, building on the Issue 24 beta the studio never got to ship. Unlike servers that aim purely to freeze the game in time, Rebirth actively develops new content while keeping the classic feel intact.
