InsaneUO Server Overview InsaneUO is an English-language Ultima Online shard built for PvM rather than open-world player killing. It runs on a RunUO base using the original map, so the geography is the one long-time players already know, and the changes are layered on top as reward systems rather than as a rewritten world. The design leans hard into loot and pace: spawns are fast, skill gain is fast, loot is enhanced and colour-coded by quality, and new accounts get a leg up instead of a hazing. PvP exists but only by consent, through guild wars and arenas, and the team has said a separate PvP shard may follow later. Everything is free to play and the operators state the shard is not pay to win.
