Shards of Dalaya Server Overview Shards of Dalaya is a long-running, free to play custom EverQuest server that blends classic EverQuest mechanics with its own world, lore and twists, creating a distinct setting rather than recreating live content. The current server, Dalaya, launched on September 27, 2024 with a full wipe on the ROF2 client, carrying over the world of the original Shards of Dalaya with rebalanced classes. It is privately funded and the team states it will never ask for donations or charge real money for any service. It suits players who know EverQuest's systems but want new zones, quests and raid encounters instead of replaying Norrath.
